re: Ann: Successful Completion of Southdown P... I got the 6.3mil by derating a 7mtpa pellet plant - but was a bit unsure why they'd build a pellet plant with only 70% capacity of the concentrator. Anyone got any good theories?
Its a good point you guys make that the value of Savage river just about covers the whole value of this stock. Nice to have that floor in place.
Market not giving too much value to the Southdown project yet. And its probably not likely to in the near future (hope I'm wrong) with the timeline for production, requirement for capital, less than sensational economics etc. It will be interesting to see what trend is set for the remainder of this week.
There also seems to be a bit of negative sentiment around iron ore prices, with talk of a lot of projects and supply coming online and chinese internal production increases.
