I only have 30 years experience in the software development industry, so maybe there are others with much more realistic expectations of the time frames of a software project.
My expectation is that, when on 14 Nov, management states that the product will be ready for global launch in Dec, the vast majority of development will be completed, tested and reliably working.
However todays announcements give a more realistic statement of the current state:
"the development phase is far from over. As the app continues in pilot mode it is being constantly monitored and the Company is working hard to continuously improve the app ahead of the public launch in H1 this year."
Managements statements about the state of the app and its "launch" is not confusing, its blatantly misleading, imo.
I only have 30 years experience in the software development...
