Well aren't we just an excitable lot here at IMM. By 9.30 a.m. Monday morning, a PS announcement garners a single comment and 20 thumbs ups. Whoopee !! The fact that it is for FDA green light of a phs 3 for lung cancer - not really worth moving the needle - ?? Maybe just a little ?
Surely, Merck has to be close to hunting around for pen and paper to suggest some sort of deal moves ahead even if only prior to one of the other BP's making some sort of blocking move. I get we simply don't know what we don't know but is it not fair to suggest that while we certainly cannot claim total success should not we now have at least some confidence in this IP of IMM having a degree of commercial likelihood re outcomes. If so should the price still be hovering down in the 20's and early 30's - pretty much at the same level it was prior to the consolidation by the way. Maybe, just maybe Merck are awaiting a price breakout so they can justify paying what this IP is really worth ... Nah, spose not !!
