as the play continues over the next 40-60 years, more punters will go east for oil

also, here's a better map of the liquids return (green) overlaying the gas (red)
just less of both gas and liquids further east

i hear the next question...so why lotsa gas to the west? and not much oil east?

a big part of that is the thickness or pay of the montney

100-200 m upper and middle montney pay to the west
10-50 m upper and middle montney pay to the east

in the middlle, the sweet-spot, the pay is thick and the liquids are abundant = liquids-rich fairway
