so why does ce1 have good porous rock and particularly to the west?
yellow star is ce1 lands, in next post
just to the west is the purple Hemipelagic Dolo-siltstone which is good porous rock
hemipelagic means it formed as a plume from a river outflow
dolo-siltstone like most of the montney means silt and old shells
so the ancient river outflow created porous rock just to the west of ce1 lands
this allowed migration of oil, then condensate and gas from the west (where it formed in very thick pay areas) to the east into ce1 lands
