Bots mainly push price down when accumulating to force unwatching investors stop losses to trigger so they can swoop in and clean up. They dont make a whole lote of sense as everyone of those trades are at a cost. Apprently they have crashed pretty big companies too. But i wouldnt worry too much, if they are chipping at companies it means there is big interest, just set stop losses with greater margins and hold.
