A contrarian view of the positive up-ramping is, inherently, going to be deemed negative by those same posters. I think you need to take a breather, in fact, this entire thread does.

My observation is that there are two people here;
1. Those who are so deeply convinced of this stock's potential and drawn to any positives.
2. Those who are wavering and/or looking for validation of their investment and are drawn to any negatives.

Our perception is our own reality, yours and mine alike - if we are down to debating the interpretation of the use of the English language then I suggest we have all hit a circular argument and should be spending our time elsewhere, like you say, just wait for the next announcement and see what happens.

My final comment on this if you are indeed correct in all of your assumptions, which you may well be, then management is just poor at communicating to its Shareholders, and if the news is positive then they should really focus on ensuring these positive notes are at the fore, and not have its shareholders 'reading between the lines in order to cherry pick the secret chunks of good news. This isn't the
This isn't the DaVinci code, this is the ASX, and as such, I don't believe these hidden positives to be the case and remains my reason for scepticism of such comments.

Your response to @Zestfulmocha may have been eventually telling him to chill but it was only after you lambasted him because he dared to be critical of the appointment of David Trench per se.

I would have a problem if you produced a statutory declaration, as it is only the signature that is verified and not the content. So we both know, as well as a few other poster here, when I was part of your Face Book group that discuss GPP outside the Hotcopper threads, I showed you emails I sent to the company that never received a reply. I mentioned it in a reply to @Davy Boy that I don't do ignorance, meaning that if after a few attempts to contact the company they can't be bothered then I also can't be bothered trying.

You seem to be one of the only posters that can read between the lines and decipher GPP announcements with certain clarity and understanding whereas the majority of posters have deemed the content of announcements ambiguous. So is it all in the announcements we only have to read them or is it something else, as in another source of information?

You come to conclusions that I only post here in the negative sense, I would actually concur on that at this present time, but regardless of what you may think my reasonings are, it is solely so the posters and readers of the threads actually get a pro/con debate without the "so called contrarian posters" being bullied @natandsal into not posting leaving the thread full of up ramping, rosy, feel good posts........

hmm and my take on the wheat when referring to the 'as per the normal GPP standards' ambiguous announcement is they're currently only testing application frequency - I do it all the time with fake tan, it's really not that exciting I can see the debatable issue of whether they're going to grow to harvest now or later but I think really it's a matter of no importance because I'm not sure we'll see the data anyway - it's predominately being done to provide 'management information' for the proposed trial that's not kicking off in Shepp (maybe) until April 2018? So @Davyboy, with the trial timelines I seriously think a shed and power point might suffice at this point in time.

@Scarpa apologies, I did indeed make initial contact with Assoc. Prof. Patti and he confirmed he was open to receiving questions. I then went on to let work, lashes, nails and lovely long lunches in the Melbourne sunshine dominate my week Seriously, I didn't think this topic would rear its ugly head again so soon and like the share itself I'd put it in the bottom drawer of my to-do list and let my attention be diverted elsewhere - my bad. Truthfully, I'm glad I did though because your recent comments are much more articulate and well thought out than my email draft so I'll re-write tomorrow morning and send.

I'll also ask for a heads up on the specifics of the current wheat trials @Zestfulmocha.

@fooca - who untied you? Interesting that you say 'last gasp of hope'because that's actually my take on the appointment of David Trench. Maybe they've clued up that they're out of their league and their inability to attract JV partners or investors (they have apparently been doing so for the last 14 months and nothing has materialised!), pull this 'imminent' PFS out of their backside or to get us grants etc necessitates them literally going back to the drawing board? I feel like we may be starting again with someone who is a bit more adept at getting things done rather than a team that really has only really been good at writing easily misinterpreted announcements that allow bs positive spins to be randomly assumed at a whim.

Lastly @apkjm - love the new footer ... I couldn't agree more
