Perhaps the tap has come from Rio for the proposed 300 MW power plant for conversion from coal to gas. I see Santos today released details of a gas sale agreement with Rio in Oz. With the current push to carbon neutrality among all mining/O&G majors perhaps Rio signing up to Scope 3 emissions from the proposed new coal-fired gas plant for Oyu Tolgoi goes against new corporate policies.
