There's more to it than that Plough. To eventually trade on a reasonable multiple of whatever earnings or cash flow can be generated, a company needs to have a good reputation. Quietly selling stock to selected investors at a 30pc discount when there is no apparent need for the funds is not good for that. Treating investors like fools doesn't help either. Has this really gone to institutions? Did they really buy because of in depth analysis of the companies assets or just because of the discount?
