...or, (as has just happened to more than one of my other stocks), people order more than they need, fully expecting a scale back, board decides to honour all applications and we have an "Oh $hip! " moment. The excess shares are dumped at issue price. Compounded with people ditching the heads and keeping the options, double whammy. SP price goes to the issue price. Does present a good buying opportunity though if you were ineligible for the placement.
