While the improvements in initial drill time are welcomed, I think more significant is the benefits the collar keeper has on drill hole integrity. The main purpose of the collar keeper is to reduce/eliminate material fall-back into the drill hole.
This, in turn, ensures the drilled depth is maintained and mining companies do not incur the additional costs of preemptive over-drilling, re-drilling and higher quantities of explosives to offset partially collapsed holes. This is why this product will be a game-changer for the industry and Aquirian.
