Major Milestone Achieved - Successful Testing of Ground and Space Communication Systems ahead of 3 Diamonds Launch Highlights

• Sky and Space Global has passed another major project milestone ahead of the “3 Diamonds” nano-satellites launch, recently confirmed for late May 2017

• SAS has successfully completed a thorough testing cycle of its Ground and Space Communication systems and software

• All functional communication services to be provided by the 3 Diamonds in space have been successfully tested using the SAS proprietary software system, including: o Transmission of voice calls, o Instant messaging services, o Data transfers, and o Uploading software upgrades to the satellites

• The testing program validated the performance of the full communication cycle, starting with transmitting data from a customized hotspot (ground segment) and then via Radio Frequency (RF) to the nano-satellites (space segment)

• This demonstration now confirms the Sky & Space Global ground station hardware and software are “space ready” for operations
