I guess the interesting aspect will be how they decide to proceed. the issue seems to be that as a platform they will be looking for a partner to supply the transported drug who is prepared to pay what would likely be considerable fees for ongoing access to a patented cpp. With the drug we are currently proposing to take to clinic, do we know who is supplying the active ingredient. I know it has most likely been mentioned in posts but my memory is hopeless. Surely to support mc of 500m any infividual access deal would need to be 5-10 million per year? So far best we have had is 2 million from genentech that turned out to be over 3 years. If we dont have our own drug to conjugate with cpp then it certainly means we need to provide some stunning lab results to get someone to pay big money for a transporter. That being said obviously we have seen some big deals in this space overseas so who knows, if they can knock on the right door.
