But what they have done has been to go outside and effectively offer a guaranteed 6% annual dividend while the rest of us bear the risk. This is why shareholders are saying to a lot of these mining companies " we want a return". What is the point of producing 6,000 barrels of oil a day if you are neglecting your shareholders.
