Plenty of facilities using the processing plant to conduct well tests via test separators when the production facility is online, pretty standard practice, I don't see this as any different to that.

Yeah I agree with Toots that an eye-watering flow rate would be great for a small pump, but ultimately we're not looking for that, we're trying to understand the connected volumes to understand the restrictions created by any compartmentalisation of the field, which is perfectly fine to measure with the proposed type of flow test.

I would be surprised if they were hiding something sinister by flow testing through the plant, but then again I would have said I'd be surprised to see this approaching my buy-in price again...yet here we are.
