I feel there is much more going on here than we know and however you unpack Mikes details on the Graphite it comes up trumps especially this part (and I may paraphrase here). There is a real economic benefit purifying the flake graphite (worth $1000's per tonne) before turning it into spherical balls because you can then sell the leftover waste as its used as a connectivity agent which is also worth $1000's per tonne as its already been purified as a part of the initial process
