From page 11 and 12 of agm presentation, Campoona graphite meets spec of what the market wants. What market you ask lithium ion batteries of course, but the ones for EVs not phones. I cannot remember why in particular. But spheronising percentage 47 is already high and aiming to improve process to get it higher still. Spheronising is important as it gives a high value end product. Also what was once upon a time low value fine flake is now a good starting point for Lithium ion batteries as you reduce processing (and so cost) to grind down the large flakes. caustic bake favoured over HFC too for enviro reasons as bob2190 eluded to.
Lacroma shows similarity to Campoona, hence the focus on Lacroma to increase the resource to make the whole operation suitable for a higher volume multi-decade operation.
Don’t write off the Kaolin and REE just yet. Dark horse imo.
My overall impression is they know where they are, where they need to get to and how to get there. Very small turnout to agm. Undiscovered I think.
