Here you can see on the chart (represented in triangle ) the time period where shorts really came in about 11th April and have increased till 26th April (net increase of 90 million shares). Then the actual shortman data.
This data is only current to Monday but nothing there to suggest those 90 million shorts have closed out. That's a decent liquidity pool if the market ops to squeeze. 135m total
