Newcrest abandoned Caspiche as uneconomic, and Exeter swooped in and grabbed it. They must be laughing.
Sounds similar to Carachapampa - I can't remember which company held it before Condor, but they did some minor surveying and didn't bother proceeding. If it's a double gold-copper-silver porphyry system under there (and the silver sulphosalts are a big clue!), Condor will have done very well for themselves.
