I also did insufficient research and somewhat naively was psychologically treating the major placement price (0.024 ) as a bit if a floor.
I'm using this as a learning experience case and rather than continuing to sit on the side-lines thought I may as well ask my questions (relevant or not ) to hopefully move forward better skilled . Hopefully some of the skilled ( and generous with their assistance) posters holding ZMI may have a little time to help and answer perhaps :

1. How did we know the date that the placement shares 0.008 placement shares would be issued on sept 7 ?. The issue of these shares was obviously clearly announced earlier ( july) but as far as I could find with no date. So, is this standard practice that I should be aware of, that you don't know until the day of the 3b or have a missed something somewhere that I should be looking out for ?
2. I know that there is a gap in the timing but how do some sophiscated investors get issued shares at 0.008 and others at 3x that value ...0.024 ? Obviously those taking on 0.024 were well aware of the 0.008 issue but struggling to get my head around that one ? or am I misinterpreting
3. On listed options , current price 0.008+0.02 ex price= 0.028. Expires Jul7 2017. Even taking into consideration the time value, isn't that (0.028) a significant premium (55%) to pay over the current heads price (0.018) ? or am I thinking about this incorrectly ?
4. The unlisted options ( 122M @ 0.02 exp april 2020 and 228M @ 0.04 exp July 2021 ) have been mentioned in the thread but unsure, with that length of time to expiry , how they come into play affecting the current ST share price ?
