The following is well known and not meant to be negative however in earlier announcements NS was expected to be development ready in Oct 24, then delayed till Dec 24 and still waiting as it's still being delayed till given the nod - whenever that exactly will be.

Yes there is keenness and certainly from AAU's point of view (even more so from holders) however, the financier still seems a little less so. One may recall AAU's plans for mine development when gold prices were a lot lower - can't help but wonder how NS figures would stack up at gold prices from such lower prices back then. (Then of course no one really knows where gold prices will be should AAU succeed to produce by early '26 as hoped for).

The reason DFS was referred to is because isn't that the usual process for obtaining finance - AAU has an as yet incomplete DFS for LD - and gold prices are much firmer now then at the time of preparation and yet it's currently on hold - shame, darn shame.

For now, let's just hope further delays will be minimal and AAU will be producing very early in '26 as 'expected'.
