That's very funny as I and many others expected a mine build start from way back in Jan this year. Expected milestones come and go - in the case of AAU many came and went nowhere. Gold prices have been climbing for some time - doubling since (incomplete) LD DFS days - it is rather disheartening to see that despite that AAU is still chasing elusive funding.
No matter what the naysayers may say or think these projects are going ahead,
So just need to hear it from management but so far despite commodity price environment only hear deferrals and difficulties in financing.
You never know, some loan shark may offer some funds with a non reducible 50% or higher interest rate - very tempting but sure to take the shine off gold prices?
You were rather pessimistic a little while back - a rather sudden flip-flop in sentiment - perhaps a career in politics awaits.
I hope our chairman's health can hold out through it all..
And our own - both physical and financial - some may need to take out loans - guess could always use similar loan sharks.
