Has never been much shorting on SUM, there's rarely much shorting on any stocks sub $50m market caps as there's no brokers who would offer the option to do so; Commsec certainly doesn't as they have a strict list of stocks that can be shorted.

Last day of the biggest short for SUM was 16 July, the day it broke through the 50-MA line on the Chart and broke through support. So that was some what of a contributing factor that day given it was a likely trigger of other stop-loss levels.

For the last month it's traded right along the 200-MA, only dropping under on that day the world panic sold, went into trading halt for the 6 tenements acquired and the world went back to normal, bouncing with the rest of the market and back above the 200-MA with the MACD giving a golden cross up as well, Volume increasing and breaking through 20c resistance level.

Sitting perfectly on the 9 and 13 EMA lines and pushing above; another bullish signal and show of strength in momentum change.

If some news can drop soon like permits granted, that will give the catalyst needed to lift back to the 30c level/ $24m-market cap
