lots going on in that announcement! Suncorp's announcements are getting more difficult to understand, not sure what's going on. I took it that:
1. bank interest deferrals are lower than the majors. good
2. additional BI provision of $125m. bad
3. waiting to see the outcome of the test case but think their provision is enough. neither good or bad.
4. capital stuck in NZ, when they can it will be returned to australia and presumably shareholders. good.
