It might be wise for smaller shareholders, getting in touch with Investors Relation to discourage the board from going in the direction of AMP buyback scheme.
At least 2 years of cost of living pressures, and what did AMP do, give in to the Institutions so that they could fiddle around with their tax positioning!
That is basically my understanding of, “most efficient way to return capital”, by giving them time to fiddle around to reduce their tax impost.
