I suppose then it depends if they have sufficient franking credits to cover this "return of capital". At least then the dividend of say 100k will be taxed at the difference between the company tax rate + the marginal rate of the structure that owns it. Better paying CGT on the equivalent 100k worth of shares in a sale to reduce the position size.
