    Thank you. There are some references circulating referencing Chinese Synthetic being up at 80% such as the 25 November 2022 article linked below but what-ever percentage it is wouldn't appear to be that critical to the EGR business model.

    Also from a purely practical perspective I would have thought that even after the recovery of selected metals, there would still be a mess of residual metals combined with the Natural + Synthetic graphite mix. The purification would also be equally applicable to the synthetic graphite within an end of life / production scrap battery as to the natural graphite. Both would need to be got back to the 99.9X% before the graphite has any potential to be reused.
