with Platinum price of usd916/ounce then the over 1m ounces @Surface [not in bedrock] equates to over usd900m - spread over the life of the mine. its a pretty good byproduct to have then.
no wonder CLQ spending a few $ to try and nail down where the main Platinum lode is.

its rather ironic that one of the 5 main uses is as a Catalytic Converter in exhaust pollution prevention - whilst this may seen its on a hiding to nothing with EV's - digging deeper - its Diesel in industry - thus not mainstream EV competition

The point is Platinum as a byproduct with likely very little extra separating costs is a significant plus for CLQ , more so if CLQ restrict any JV partner to only the 3 battery metals - Nickel, Cobalt & Copper - with CLQ retaining other Metals
