Very happy to see this. I think it sends some really good signals. Looking through it with a critical lens, one would notice that STM have been slowly moving out of all their "Non Ecuador" positions. Normally you would see this for a company that is selling off its assets to fund it's own survival but this looks to be a lot more of a tactical decision.
With STM already being so cashed up, we don't need the money. Instead, I see this as removing a possible distraction to ensure all efforts are directed at Ecuador. They seem to be dropping all other projects to really narrow in on Ecuador and they wouldn't do this if they weren't confident and didn't think there was something there. Very excited.
On top of this we also still retain 420,000 shares and still have an interest in the project. Essentially now we could still reap the benefits of the Lithium project without having to handle any of the management responsibilities.
Just a quick overview of ULTH.CN, the company we now own 420,000 shares in:
Shares on issue: 42 Million
Current Share Price: $0.99CAD
12 Month High: $1.80CAD (FEB,2021)
12Month Low: $0.12CAD
Also, this is a LOI (Letter of Intent) so it isn't over the line yet.
GLTAH and my opinion only.
