Another thing that CD1999 probably wouldn't be aware of is that sometimes a series of hole numbers are allocated to a particular drill rig or a drill pad so when another rig finishes its hole elsewhere or its RC precollar then hole numbers can jump around a bit when a new hole is designed or commenced, often results from holes can prompt new holes to be added in either updip or downdip or along strike.

Having drill holes that are "misses" or "near hits" is completely typical in exploration and in resource drilling because there isnt an orebody in the world that is of infinite strike length, infinite dip extent and continuous grade throughout....
