This certainly is an unusual U-turn in the usual downward trajectory we have had to put up with this year. Time to celebrate a little.

What do we have to celebrate? Well there's the Carbon nanosphere. This is really the star of this 12CQ story is it not.

Then there's the paper published in Nature, "Room temperature manipulation of long lifetime spins in metallic-like carbon nanospheres".

these latest supercomputing simulations have also proven this, another quote from Nature piece - From our structural, chemical and electronic characterization we propose that the non-bonding orbitals associated to the structural imperfections induce conduction electrons to the system and significantly enhance the electron density of states. This is in agreement with theoretical works...

all the excitement about conduction electrons is I presume because these can now not just store information in their spin but also can move under the influence of an electric field, in other words, transport the information as well. AXE is working through the physics of the paper and proving the theory. I don't always feel inclined to go back and read the paper, but it can be enlightening.

Congrats to the team and congrats to all holders/investors. A deep tech company like this that's confident to do pioneering work and releases detailed news flow is rare. But this is a long term hold for me. Happy to hold for 5 years from here and hopefully (meanwhile) see the SP go places I can dream about.
