If the majors are truly keen and sniffing around then they would have got the deal done. With 100% premium they need to pay $50m which is a pocket change for them. So why none of the majors have done this? They all employ world class geologist anyway so they know exactly what's in the ground.

As for proving up the resource in a porphyry deposit, it's definitely not child's play. Look at other company exploring and proving up a porphyry deposit, you need to spend $100m to $200m in drilling alone. Not small money at all, just a $2m CR here already caused so much pain. How much shareholder dilution is needed to fund this sort of game?

In short, if asx thinks this is worth as much as what shareholders think, then the SP won't be trading at the current price.

Btw no one is manipulating the share price so that they can buy in cheap. If you really believe this line of BS, and given the claimed "manipulation" has been going on for a while, then surely they would own the company by now? Or at least a substantial shareholder?

Truth is, Peter has run the ship very poorly. Poor shareholders comms, poor decisions when it come to CR, poor marketing effort. He is on a leash being dragged around by the brokers. If you bought this at a higher SP, your only chance to recover your loss is when Peter is gone and replaced by someone more capable.
