Pretty sure Bev doesn't need the money and there is no need for him to be putting his impressive rep on the line.
I think it makes sense that he wants to be CEO of a company that holds both assets and links some missing pieces. Asia Pac and the regions SLC operate in now own infrastructure for full connectivity.
I think SLC is a prime takeover target for one of the bigger players.
