Using a company's forecast of coming year's profits to make investment decision alone will be leaving a lot of dough on the table. I am investing based on the value of the infrastructure, not on next year's forecast. It's like trying to value a newly opened privately built highway based on 5% utilisation for coming year and believing that there will be no growth in utilisation of the highway ever.
