Zahir, I have keep track of this over the years and have questioned management of various companies when they have sold - this is a couple of responses;

- To pay for conversion of options
- Needed for upgrade of house (more expensive)
- Marriage settlement
- Tax bill
- Always sell shares as consider this part of salary package

Note this is what I have received from different companies and is not directed at DML's management.

You make a valid point, but it is a job to many and therefore they would rather have the cash. Maybe ring the company and put the question to them?
