The takeover may go higher, via a new bidder.
They have shot themselves in the foot. They said "WE WILL NOT INCREASE THE BID".
Hence now every other gold company in the world now knows what they need to bid to outbid them!
Other ASX companies will be doing the sums now. Or as I said in the first line, some other company from around the world.
