Sets it back... it's a 24/7 news cycle... so a week or two setback. Less so if the member is moved to pasture or responsibly for the ATM is shifted to a separate area.
I'm not trying to be negative, only practical. It would just be ''cleaner'' if someone else was in. I am not suggesting that long term it effects this stock. It simply makes it uncomfortable to announce any potential tender winner (at the fed level) soon.
Trying to think of who would be a useful replacement (I mean for the country, not just announcements re: the ATM).
