A bit strange. Most of this “supplementary information” was already available in the original announcement, if one bothered to read the references provided.
The only piece of new information in tonight’s announcement seems to me to be
A single dose of PYC-003 was added at a concentration of 20μM to generate the results in the announcement. Four technical replicates were evaluated to ensure consistency of the result with a statistical significance of p<0.0001 according to the student t-test.
Which in my inexpert opinion seems to mean that efficacy was demonstrated using a relatively low dose and that one can have a high level of confidence that the result is valid.
Here is a link to a more detailed explanation of the Crown Bioscience assay which was used to demonstrate that PYC-003 was effective in reducing cyst size and frequency in models derived from PKD patients.
