Lets keep in mind that Recce engage very good IP and Corporate lawyers to guide them through the entire process.
My understanding of the situation is that the claim is considered a Patent Troll, not a legitimate claim as you may be seeing it. I'd probably give the management team a call if you have concerns. I'm pretty confident you'll feel similar to me afterwards.
Anyway, the company is going ahead, it has its own IP (meaning its technology is novel), and will have a great deal of news flow in the coming months as they go ahead with testing.
