I was wondering if the ‘takeover’ offer by RG might be just a ploy to get the share price back up? RG might be like ‘I’ll buy the whole company for peanuts if you’ll let me. But if not I’m happy for committed shareholders to remain and for the company to remain listed on the ASX. I’d like to think this is the case as he’s done ridiculous takeover offers in the past and subsequently abandoned his takeover plans. Is there any real benefit in the company being private as opposed to being listed on the ASX? Maybe RG is actually the good guy!
