So $25aud per test and they ordered 277KUSD worth which gives them 12 days cover at the 1K tests a day mentioned.
Do the tests contain any material that is difficult to store or maintain that would then lead to a hospital ordering only 12 days supply? Trying to wrap my head around these numbers, as it would appear that either the price per test is overstated or the usage is not at 1k per day. The hospital in Boston’s ceo gave an interview afew weeks ago saying he has over a years supply of PPE. With 70K tests done daily in Massachusetts, something does not add up in terms of placing an order for what amounts to 12K tests in total.
