Good point, but let’s look at the opportunity the oppies present where an equivalent value for SRN of 50.5¢ could be achieved if/ when the sp hits 12¢.
This is how it works. Joe and Harry both decide to invest $2k each in Surefire, but, whereas Joe buys 200k SRN at 1¢ each, Harry has more of an appetite for risk, so he buys 1m SRNOD at .02¢ each.
Wind the clock forward several months and the sp hits 12¢. This is how both investors fared:
Joe’s $2,000 investment is now valued at $24,000. Harry, on the other hand, has made an absolute killing. If he sells his 1m oppies for true value, he’ll pocket $101,000.
For Joe to make $99,000 profit on his 200,000 shares, SRN would need to be trading at 50.5¢.
