Hi Spec, what's your thoughts on Block caving under Gilbeys as an option?
I remembered you mentioning it in the past.
With more of the same luck with the drill bit, Pepper, NN WW and FP combined could ultimately contribute upwards of 1.5mtpa feed at (3.5gt) for the next decade.
That's 150k ounces per year at an operating profit margin of roughly $2,500 at todays gold price.
1.5mtpa * 3.5gt * 92% recovery
150koz * ($3,500 - AISC $1,000) =
Thats 375 million in OPCF per year keeping in mind that AISC should probably be much lower than my 1k estimate for a block cave.
Do they potentially increase upfront capex spend and just bulk mine the whole lot out???
Mate it's so good to think that their options are continuing to multiply.
Find another at surface base load pit along strike and it will be the absolute optionality cream on top.
IMHO Spartan's future has never looked rosier than it does right now!!!
