It is all about maintaining a working balance in a domain that has a breadth of interests, depending on which side of the fence you are sitting.

This does not mean that JNS will cap its role to 30c. Anything can happen. Lets bear in mind that this type of promotional agreements could be justifiably amended down the track.

JNS's involvement is a tactic that is primarily aimed at counterbalancing the SP capping and eventually will accelerate the TO offers.

I do not believe that North Americans will finally get hold of this, as AVZ sits functionally within the Chinese sphere of interest, as they already have invested heaps in our direction. That said, when you call a bluff there is a reason. In this case, we create our own stalling tactics for SP to appreciate upon gradual realise of drilling results. The same drilling results that on one hand are offering de risking to the Chinese, and potentially giving them time to play hard to get and suppressing SP, on the other. I think JNS's involvement will bring this to a head earlier than anticipated, for obvious monetary reasons.

Great move by Klaus and the team. Creating interest and pressure from outside China is a great move and will likely mean China have to act sooner and at a higher eventual TO price. Makes the wait while drilling happens even more interesting and enjoyable.
