My concern is that Sat communications industry is very competitive and fast moving, Zoleo was a great opportunity for BCC that allowed an entrance into, at the time, a non crowded market. This time around, BCC are asked to divest from their flagship device but I fear they do not have sufficient R&D cycles completed nor any direction for the replacement revenue stream.
If they, BCC, wanted to re-enter the market with a new set of devices that will be an expensive, prolonged and risk-filled undertaking. With current cash levels and the overall shuffling of its leadership and growth strategy it seems near impossible that Beam would be successful to bounce back up, we'll have to wait and see but future prospects are not looking good.
