I don't pretend to know everything about BID / OPA, but if you look back a few years you will see the contents of my posts on OPA / BID.

It was and still is my opinion, that their software solution just wasn't good enough.

Their business model was based largely on their software, which they had written 9and were continuing to develop) themselves. The BID business in Australia certainly used their software as a means of differentiating themselves in the energy market.

Its just my opinion, but I always thought (and I said so on this forum) that no matter what other business challenges they had, whether it be overseas expansion, cash burn, management, etc, their single biggest issue was the software solution which they were writing.

What is interesting for all of us is that I don't recall the Board or the Management Team every flagging this as an issue. I could be wrong, but I don't recall it.
