Hardly surprising.
Possible reasons
1. Has not a cent in the bank and wants to avoid (yet again) releasing the quarterly on time to hide this.
2. Fraser promised them a "best endeavours" CR to go with the acquisition and is now screwing them down on price. A 2 cent capital raising.
3. If it's a mineral property acquisition - they don't have a geo to write up the right amount of poop for it.
4. Perhaps it's another ill-fated attempt to acquire their JV partner's 40% in Vietnam. Let me guess "terms agreed" but somehow it never happens.
5. Someone's had their hand in the cookie jar and there is a related party issue.
