You make it sound like BUD can just wait and sort out the chip supply issue? They don't have any time left to do this, because as long as they aren't producing goods, they are burning cash and assets. Eventually, a business that cannot replace its inventory will run out of cash and become insolvent unless it can raise capital somehow.
IMO you are significantly over-estimating how long BUD can operate without full production returning.
