Well, I'm not sure that holds.
For, if Teva have - contrary to management expectations - on 1 June given MSB notice that it (Teva) was disengaging from the partnership, then this would certainly come as a major surprise to the MSB board.
Which means it might indeed take some time to formulate a strategic response and, additionally, to consider how best to communicate that to stakeholders, including capital markets.
While any discussion without the facts is tantamount to speculating, I don't think one can rule anything in or out.
I certainly don't think one can interpret a week-long suspension as having nothing to do with Teva exiting stage left.
