The Govt already has started building the NBN in Tasmania. They have purchased the Transact assets for Canberra. Perth and WA would be the next logical city/state to target. They will pick off the smaller areas, before tackling the much harder issue of Melbourne and Sydney, where it is ultra-competitive in the wholesale/backhaul space.
